Your Safety Matters
How GoZi keeps journeys accountable, and what to do if something isn’t right.
1. Partner verification
Every driver, vehicle owner and motorbike partner applies through GoZi before they can be matched with customers.
- Applicants provide their ID details and, where relevant, licence and vehicle registration details.
- The GPMS team reviews each application and may request documents, a call or a vehicle inspection.
- Applications are only marked Verified by a GPMS administrator — never automatically.
- Partners can be suspended at any time if a safety concern is raised.
Verification checks the information provided to us at the time of review. It is not a guarantee of behaviour, so please keep following the safety tips below.
2. Booking references
- Every booking and request receives a unique GoZi reference, such as GZ-DR-4HK7PQ.
- Before you start a trip, confirm the reference, the partner’s name and the vehicle with the person picking you up.
- Quote your reference whenever you contact GoZi so we can find your booking quickly.
3. Communication safety
- Official GoZi contact: WhatsApp and phone 053 517 8253, email gpmsgozi@gmail.com.
- GoZi will never ask for your password, Mobile Money PIN or card PIN.
- Only pay through payment details confirmed by GoZi. Be wary of anyone asking for payment to a different number.
- Share your trip details with a friend or family member, especially for late-night or long-distance journeys.
4. Reporting issues
If something goes wrong — a late or no-show partner, unsafe driving, damage, a lost item or poor behaviour — tell us as soon as it is safe to do so. Include your booking reference, what happened, and when.
We review every report, may contact both parties, and can suspend partners or accounts while we investigate.
5. Fraud reporting
- Report suspected fake listings, impersonation of GoZi staff, or requests for off-platform payment immediately.
- Do not send money or share codes if you are unsure — contact GoZi on our official number first.
- If you have lost money to fraud, also report it to the Ghana Police Service.
6. Responsible platform use
- Wear a seatbelt in cars and a helmet on motorbikes.
- Never drive or ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and never encourage a partner to break traffic laws.
- Treat partners and other passengers with respect. Harassment and discrimination are not tolerated.
- Do not send prohibited items through delivery services. See our Terms & Conditions.
7. Emergency guidance
If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services first. GoZi is not an emergency service.
- National emergency: 112
- Police: 191 or 18555
- Ambulance: 193
- Fire service: 192
Once you are safe, let GoZi know so we can support you and act on the report.
